A Prayer for the Woman Called to Lead

Confidence doesn’t come from the crowd. It’s cultivated in communion.
Can I share something personal?
There are days, even as a coach, speaker, and leader, when I still need someone to pray over me. Not because I’m weak, but because I’m human. Because leadership is heavy. Because the weight of showing up, pouring out, and standing strong can feel like too much.
In Season 1, Episode 4 of Graced to Lead Podcast, I hit pause and offered a prayer for you. Because I know what it’s like to question yourself, to show up afraid, and to wonder if God really meant you when He handed out the assignments.
If you’ve ever asked, “Am I enough for this?”, you’re in good company. I’ve cried those tears. I’ve stared at the ceiling in the dark asking God, Are You sure You called me? Because I feel underqualified.
But confidence in leadership isn’t about never being scared. It’s about choosing to trust who sent you, even when you don’t trust what’s in front of you.
Your leadership identity doesn’t come from your job title, your resume, or your following. It comes from being His.
Remember this. You are a daughter first. A leader second.

Here’s What I’ve Learned:
When you lead from identity, not insecurity, you lead with quiet authority.
You don’t need to over-explain yourself. You just need to stay rooted in who you are.
Prayer isn’t a backup plan. It’s your battle strategy.
So today, let this be your reminder:
You don’t need to hype yourself up.
You just need to get still and let God fill you up.
With grace and authority,
Belinda

When do I feel most confident in my leadership—and what fuels that confidence?
Where have I been leading from performance instead of purpose?
How can I make space to reconnect with God this week before making decisions?
