Leading When No One Sees You

It's not hidden; it's Holy.
Let me just say it—I know what it feels like to lead faithfully and feel invisible.
In Episode 3 of Season 2 on the Graced to Lead Podcast, I was deeply personal. I opened up about leading through transitions, internal wrestles, and moments where I’m silently asking God: “Can I really do this?” I’ve had to wipe tears, hold space for others, and show up strong when I was anything but.
We rarely talk about the hidden work of leadership.
The quiet surrender.
The behind-the-scenes battles.
The emotional weight of decision-making.
But it’s in that hidden space—those surrendering days—that God has shaped me most.
The world may never see the late-night prayers or the conversations you’re having with God before every meeting. But He does. Heaven counts what hashtags can’t.
I want to reframe this season for you.

This isn't a punishment.
It’s preparation.
It’s shaping.
It’s leadership growth in its most sacred form.
Here’s what I know for sure:
Heaven counts what hashtags can’t.
If you’ve been smiling on Zoom while holding back tears, I see you. If you’ve been leading through transition, layoffs, grief, or hard decisions, I’m with you.
Let this post be your reminder: that you are not alone!
You are positioned on purpose for a purpose.
You’re leading well, even if it doesn’t look like it today.
This season won’t be wasted.
With God's abundant grace,
Belinda
