You’re More Than the Title You Hold

My value isn’t found in my title—it’s anchored in who I am in Christ.
You know, it’s easy to wrap our worth in what we do (i.e. job titles, leadership roles, positions, platforms), how much we manage, or the recognition we receive. But I had to confront the truth: If my identity is built on a title, I’ll always feel like I have to earn my worth.
And you know what? That’s exhausting.
When that truth really landed in my spirit, it set me free. Whether I was Belinda the coach, Belinda the director, or Belinda in transition—I was still valuable, still loved, and still called.
You are more than the title you carry. You’re a daughter of God first—always.

Here’s what I’ve learned:
Titles can change—but your God-given identity doesn’t.
The position is what you do. It’s not who you are.
When you lead from identity instead of insecurity, you lead with power and peace.
So even if you’re in a season where the title feels unclear or stripped away—don’t panic. You haven’t lost yourself. You’re just getting re-rooted.
You were chosen before you were called by title.
Hey, I see you—not just for what you do, but for who you are. And I hope you start seeing yourself that way too.
With clarity and calling,
Belinda
Reflection Questions:
Have I allowed my title (or lack of one) to define my value?
Where is God inviting me to lead from identity, not insecurity?
What would shift if I fully believed I was already enough—title or not?
